Want a great way to display all those beautiful family photos? How about a Family Photo Wall. It’s a wonderful way to display those precious family memories. Mine is a work in progress…I love the way it looks and I know I will be adding more and more photos until I can’t fit anymore!
But, this doesn’t have to be an expensive project. Gather frames at Thrift Stores and Yard Sales. They don’t even have to be the right color, if you like the size and the shape and the price of course. Grab it, you can paint it later. My frames are all black. Some I painted some were black when I bought them. All of my frames came from my local Thrift Store. I just kept collecting. I always look at the frame section when I go to the Thrift Store! I found this super cute I love You frame at the Dollar Tree. Had to grab that! I even have a photo canvas project that I made on the wall.
I used some of my digital scrapbooking supplies to tie it all together. The I Love You Frame had some digital papers in it and the same papers are mats for a few of my other pictures. I also used the same paper on the Hybrid Canvas that I made. The papers are all in black and cream tones. I love the way it turned out. I even added my cute little felt cameras that I made to the display! I have more pictures I want to add so another trip to the thrift store is due!
I hope this inspires you to make your own Family Photo Wall! It really is a project any one can do. And a perfect way to show off those precious memories.
(I used digital paper by the designer Quirky Twerp called “Fabrications Classics“, you can get them at The Digi Chick. You can also get a digital version of the Camera Felties in my shop at GingerScraps, “Creations by Julie”
